Representation of Corporations in Consumer Financial Services Litigation Our firm represents the interests of the firms that issue credit cards and charge cards to consumers, as well as firms engaged in the leasing and sale of vehicles to the consumer. Our attorneys have expertise in such diverse areas and controversies as partnership disputes, claims for breach of contract, allegations of violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Our attorneys have experience in interpreting and litigating all types of coverage issues under both property and liability policies, including primary and excess policies. Our expertise includes the investigation of all aspects of fraudulent claims made by individual and corporate insureds, which have resulted in over $15 million dollars in successful recoveries to one of our insurance company clients. Defense of Self-Insured Companies and Third-Party Administrators Our attorneys collectively have significant experience in working with companies that are either self-insured or have significant retentions. To that end, we work directly with company risk managers and/or third-party administrators appointed by the company to oversee their litigation. Defense of General Liability Claims Our attorneys have expertise litigating automobile cases, premises claims, negligent hiring, negligent security, and intentional tort cases. Our attorneys provide representation of our clients in defending claims that arise when plaintiffs claim defects in the design and/or manufacture of numerous and varied products. Our firm has investigated, analyzed and litigated subrogation and recovery matters for our insurance company clients. We have effectuated recoveries arising from fires, floods, equipment failures and automobile accidents. Our attorneys are experienced in prosecuting matters before the American Arbitration Association, and the General Arbitration Council of the Textile and Apparel Industry.
